Executive Director
Andrea Gerlach joined Dallas Ear Institute in 2012 and currently serves as the Executive Director of Dallas Ear Institute and The Hearing Center. Prior to joining our team, she worked with a major hearing aid manufacturer as an Audiology Trainer and Account Manager for practices in Texas and Oklahoma. Dr. Gerlach has also served as a Staff Audiologist at Professional Hearing Services in St. Joseph, MI and as a Clinical Audiologist at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. She earned a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Nebraska. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the Texas Academy of Audiology. Her primary interests include hearing conservation and the treatment and rehabilitation of hearing loss through hearing aids and assistive listening devices. She strongly believes in working with each patient to address their individual communication needs and obstacles in order to provide the most appropriate hearing solution for their lifestyle. It is her goal to ensure every patient has a positive experience in our clinic and no longer has to worry about their hearing loss keeping them from participating in the activities they enjoy. Dr. Gerlach resides in Coppell with her husband Matt and their two children.
